Why are they called wall tattoos?

Wall tattoos are a huge design trend in Europe and the US. The material used is a thin vinyl which lays itself so close onto the wall that it looks like painted or "tattooed" onto it. Wall tattoos are also known as wall stickers, interior wall decals, wall art or vinyl stickers.

 

Can I stick a wall tattoo on other smooth surfaces such as windows, doors, tiles and cupboards?

Yes, you can! A general rule: The smoother the surface, the better it sticks!

On smooth surfaces, interior wall decals will last longer and stick better than on rougher/coarse surfaces. They also stick very well on glass or mirrors.

If you are not sure, if the surface is smooth enough, then apply a free test sticker first. You will get one with every decal ordered, or you just ask us for a free sample before you order.

You can even stick wall tattoos on your car. But be aware that due to weather conditions, sunlight, etc. the wall decal lasts only about 3 years on your car.

 

Which material is used for the wall tattoos?

Our wall decals are made of a soft, very thin high-quality vinyl with a matte surface. They last at least 3-5 years, but can be removed at any time.

 

Can the colours of the wall decals differ from the colours shown on the website?

Yes, due to the settings on your pc screen they might differ a bit in colour. If you are in doubt, then before orderin a wall decal from us, just ask us for a test sticker.
